The Sniper Kukku[1], known as a Shoukyokuteki Sentouin (消極的戦闘員)[2] in Japan, is an enemy that appears in Tails Adventures.
Overview
Outfitted with thick, green armour and skilled in marksmanship, Sniper Kukkus are elite members of the Battle Kukku Empire that are generally stationed in the empire's most important locations, particularly Coco Island and Battle Fortress 2. Their strategy involves crouching for cover, rising up every few seconds to shoot Tails with their laser guns. They are usually in the most obvious places around Coco Island, such as out in the open or in corridors and cubbyholes, but the ones found aboard the Battle Fortress hide behind short walls and fire through small holes.
Their armour makes them impervious to attacks when they're crouching, only dropping their guard when attacking, so the player should hit them with any offensive item when they get up to attack. Like many enemies in Tails Adventures, Sniper Kukkus have a chance of dropping a Ring when defeated.
