The Pilot Combatant^[1] is an enemy that appears in Tails Adventures.

Overview

Pilot Combatants are among the various ranks of footsoldiers in the Battle Kukku Empire, and as their name would suggest, these troops operate small planes throughout the first section of Battle Fortress 1. They fly alone or in groups from many different sides of the screen, either from the left or right sides of the screen depending on the Sea Fox's direction, and attack by shooting bullets straight forward as they swoop back upward. Some may swoop in from the top of the screen to attack.

Any type of weapon the Sea Fox can use in Battle Fortress 1 will easily take them out, and while colliding with them directly will damage the Sea Fox they will also be destroyed this way. Like many enemies in Tails Adventures, Pilot Combatants have a chance of dropping a Ring when defeated, though in their case the Rings they drop will fall straight downward off the screen and are very difficult to catch.
