Death Egg is a racecourse in Sonic Drift 2 for the Sega Game Gear, and the last one of the game. This stage is the sixth track of the Blue Chaos GP (Blue being the hardest of the three available tournaments), coming after Milky Way. As with most other races in the Chaos Grand Prix, racers have to complete three laps of the track to finish, and the fastest racer gets a Chaos Emerald.

Overview

The Death Egg racetrack appears to be constructed on the outside of Dr. Eggman's battlestation, if the starry sky is any indication. Mirrored surfaces line the track, reflecting the starlight back off the metallic ground, and in the distance, massive steel facilities and megawatt spotlights crowd the artificial horizon.

From a practical racing standpoint, Death Egg is a cornering nightmare, with straight sections of track few and far between. On the plus side, racers can't fall off, but the sparking electric pylons scattered around the sides of the course will zap the Rings out of racers if they slam into them.

Final GP

The Death Egg also serves as the venue for the Final GP, which is accessed once the player finishes 1st in all of the races in the Blue Chaos GP. It is a single one-on-one race against a specific opponent depending on the player's character. If the player is Sonic, Tails, Knuckles or Amy, the opponent will be Eggman; if the player is Eggman, Fang or Metal Sonic, the opponent will be Sonic.

If the player wins the race, the end credits will be displayed.
