Sonic Dream Team is a 3D action game published by Sega for iOS, Apple TV and macOS. The game was announced on November 1, 2023 and made available through the Apple Arcade subscription service one month later on December 5[1].
Dr. Eggman has discovered an ancient device known as the Reverie, which holds the power to make dreams come true. To take control of the Reverie, Eggman has captured Cream the Rabbit and Cheese to use them as a conduit for his evil dreams, however is intercepted and put to sleep by energy from the Reverie. Through intel from Rouge, Sonic and his friends arrive at Eggman's base and discover Eggman in a comatose state. While investigating, everyone falls asleep from the same energy.
Upon waking up, Sonic finds himself in a different world, and upon following a voice finds himself in Reverie Haven. There, he meets Ariem, Dreamweaver, and Guardian of the Reverie. She has brought Sonic's friends here to speed through Dr. Eggman's twisted Dreamscapes and find the Dream Orbs so that she may recover her Dreamweaving powers to reunite everyone, thwart Eggman's latest scheme for world domination, and help everyone wake up using the Dream Core.
