• Feb. 2, 1994 - Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is released in North America for the Sega Genesis. Groundhog day is redubbed "Hedgehog Day." In addition, Sonic the Hedgehog Boom, a Sonic CD and Sonic Spinball soundtrack, is released.
• Feb. 4, 2002 - Sonic Advance is released in North America for the Game Boy Advance
• Feb. 4, 2004 - Triple Threat: Sonic Heroes Vocal Trax, a music CD containing the vocal songs from Sonic Heroes and Sonic Adventure, is released in Japan. In addition, Sonic X begins its syndicated run on CiTV, a British children's network.
• Feb. 6, 2004 - Sonic Heroes is released in Europe to all 128-bit era consoles, excluding the Sega Dreamcast.
• Feb. 12, 2002 - Sonic Adventure 2: Battle is released in North America for the Nintendo Gamecube.

• Nov. 7, 1990 - Sonic the Hedgehog is revealed for the first time by being painted on the side of DREAMS COME TRUE's tour bus.

• Nov. 25, 1993 - Sonic Hot Air Balloon appears in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in America. The float holds more air then the others and is the only float ever created based on a video game character. The float crashed into a lamppost and injured 2 people.
• Nov. 25, 2004 - Sonic Town Amusement Park, is built like

a town themed after Sonic and friends, opens in Japan.

• Dec. 1, 1991 - The Sega CD is released in Japan.
