The Egg Devil Ray is another of Eggman's boss machines, found in Spagonia. It looks like a floating fish that shoots lasers.
To beat this boss, its shield must be disabled first. To eliminate the shield, it involves attacking the two balls on the front of the machine with Boosts. Once the shield is disabled, you can boost into and hit the machine.
Its has a few attacks, most which involve lasers. It can fire lasers and fire energy balls at you.
In 2D perspective, the lasers act differently, and require you to dodge them based on their pattern.
Differences
In the Wii/PS2 Version, Eggman actually pilots the machine. In the 360/PS3 version, two Little Fighter robots pilot it.
