The Bomb Snipe[1], known as the Snipe Mode (スナイプモード[2]) in Japan, is a move used by Rouge the Bat in the 2006 Sonic the Hedgehog game, and a variant of the Bomb.
Overview
The Bomb Snipe allows Rouge to go into a first-person perspective before throwing a bomb by holding 
/
while on the ground. In this state, the player can aim where to throw the bomb using the Right Stick, then throw by releasing / and return to normal view. This makes it easier to aim, as well as increasing the range of the thrown bomb, making it go farther. This makes the Bomb Snipe perfect for killing enemies who are out of reach.
Tails' version of the move is the Dummy Ring Snipe.
