Mars Sample Program is a Sega 32X sample program created during the development of the 1994 action-platform game Sonic Mars. It contains a single, three-dimensional polygonal model of Sonic the Hedgehog.
Contents
Mars Sample Program features no controls, and only contains a single rotating 3D model of Sonic the Hedgehog; the same model used for Sonic Mars' in-game cutscenes, as well as the Amiga 3000-based pitch videos created by Chris Senn. Internally, the ROM contains both the model of Sonic and the playfield seen in the first pitch - despite neither being created on the Sega 32X.
