Sonic the Hedgehog was a planned conversion of Sonic the Hedgehog to the Mega-CD. It was shown at Summer CES 1992 in Chicago and featured in issue 11 of the Mega Play magazine. A short gameplay video was shown which may have actually been footage of the Mega Drive game. This game was discontinued in favor of Sonic the Hedgehog CD.
