The third of the Advance series.
The ending of this game is based on work by former Sonic Classic administrator Sonic Sue. This was confimed by Sonic Team, who had claimed that they would give her credit, but never did.

Game Play
The gameplay of this game is similar to that of Knuckles' Chaotix, with its 2 character team-ups and ring-dropping enemies. The ring bands are gone. Like Sonic Advance 2, this game's merit is the subject of a lot of debate. It really comes down to personal taste - this isn't really a bad game, but many people don't like the gameplay.
Abilites with Knuckles as partner
When Knuckles is your partner, the lead chareacter can grap grab and use Echinda Volley to attack enemies. The leader can also ride him while gliding.
- When Sonic is the leader, he can use a homing attack.
- When Tails is the leader, he can use tails to glide instead of Knickles. Tails, however, cannot climb walls.
- When Amy is the leader,she gets a larger hammer.
- When Cream is the leader, Cheese will glow with power.
Abilites with Amy as partner
The lead character will gain use of a hammer. Amy can also use her hammer to extend the leader's jump.
