Sonic at the Olympic Games is a mobile sports game released for iOS and Android devices in 2020, based on the real-life 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.
On October 21, 2021, it was announced that all online services for the game would be terminated on December 15, 2021[4]. The game can still be played offline, but in-app purchases are no longer available.
On January 20, 2022, another version of the game was released listed at $0.99. Anyone who had the original build and purchased in-app purchases for it can download the game from their purchases and eventually restore their purchases. However, Japan did not receive the offline version. Those who did not buy Access Passes can only play Asakusa as a whole, including the 3 Odaiba stages that you play at the beginning before 1-9.
