Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom is a game developed by Sega Europe studio Hardlight that was released for iOS and Android mobile devices. It serves as a sequel to Sonic Dash, featuring characters from the Sonic Boom series.
There are six playable characters: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Sticks and Shadow.
The gameplay of the game, like its predecessor, consists of an endless runner where the player must deflect obstacles, collect rings and gain points, but with new skills and mechanics. Among the new mechanics is the use of Enerbeam to take the Ener-Rails, just as in the game there is a way to change characters in the middle of the stage through caves. Unlike his predecessor, now each character has a unique ability, like Knuckles with his Slam attack. There is also in this game, the Sprites, helpers who evolve and can be of temporary or permanent use, approaching thus the Chao.
