Sonic at the Olympic Games is a mobile sports game released for iOS and Android devices in 2020, based on the real-life 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.
On October 21, 2021, it was announced that all online services for the game would be terminated on December 15, 2021[4]. The game can still be played offline, but in-app purchases are no longer available.
On January 20, 2022, another version of the game was released listed at $0.99. Anyone who had the original build and purchased in-app purchases for it can download the game from their purchases and eventually restore their purchases. However, Japan did not receive the offline version.
