Kamaki (カマキ)[1] is a praying mantis-like Badnik that appears in Sonic Advance 3, designed similarly to the Slicer. Its name is derived from "kamakiri", which means "mantis" in Japanese.
This Badnik makes its home in Cyber Track, where it simply remains stationary on the floor or ceiling. When approached by the player, they will toss their claws out into the air in both directions and then regenerate a new pair to attack with. Unlike Slicers, their claws simply fly in an arc without homing in on the player, and their attack has a significant delay, making them far less dangerous.
