Sonic the Hedgehog was a planned conversion of Sonic the Hedgehog to the Mega CD. It was shown at 1992 Summer CES in Chicago and also featured in at least one magazine. A short gameplay video was shown which may have been ripped from the Sega Genesis game. It was scrapped in favor of Sonic the Hedgehog CD.
