- 1975 — Erica Schroeder, the English voice actor for Blaze the Cat from 2005 to 2009, is born.
- 1996 — Issue #77 of Sonic the Comic is released in the United Kingdom.
- 2003 — "Chaos Emerald o Te ni Irero!", the 4th episode of Sonic X, airs in Japan.
- 2008 — GerbilSoft releases a prototype of Sonic's Edusoft, an edutainment game developed in 1991 by Tiertex. The original source is unfortunately lost to time.
- 2016 — Issue #84 of Sonic Universe is released in North America.
- 2020 — "Morika no Hi", the 75th episode of Sonic X, airs in Japan.
- 2022 — Issue #49 of the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series by IDW Publishing is released in North America.
