Coleco Sonic is a handheld game console released in 2006 by Coleco, also marketed as PlayPal in Canada and Pocket Gear in Europe. It features 20 built-in games from the Sega Master System and Sega Game Gear.[1] All the games can be played either on the integrated 2.4" TFT LCD display, or output to a TV via composite video. Its name references the Sega mascot, Sonic the Hedgehog, who stars in some of the games.

The console has several buttons in addition to the directional pad and the 1 , 2, and Start buttons. There is also buttons to reset the machine and change the volume. There is also a headphone port on the bottom of the console.
