Sonic Super Special 15 is the fifthteenth and final issue of the Sonic Super Special miniseries; it was published in November 2000 and features the stories Naugus Games and Sonic Spin City.
Background Information
- It's stated that Sonic had just gotten Mobotropolis back from Robotnik in Naugus Games, meaning it takes place between the events of Issue 75 and Issue 76. This creates a plot hole, however, since only days pass between the events of the aforementioned issues.
- The Naugus Games story is rather infamous for its poor art, with many pages either being completely back or covered in snow.
- Naugus Games was remade in the Free Comic Book Day 2011 story Rematch, officially making the original version non-canonical.
- Ian Flynn stated that the original story would not be included in any Sonic Selects graphic novel, likely due to the reasons above.
- Sonic Spin City is a parody of Frank Miller's Sin City, and is the only story in this issue to be republished (Sonic Archives 17).
