Sonic Cafe is Sega's mobile phone games service in Japan. For a fee of ¥315 a month (after tax), the user gets access to the entire library of currently available games, to download as many times as they want. The service is available on NTT DoCoMo's i-appli phones. The service first began on January 26, 2001[1].
The service is only available in Japan and is not expected to become available elsewhere. A select few of these games have become available in the United States and Europe on the Sega Mobile service.
