Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric is a spinoff Sonic game based on Sonic Boom (TV series). The game was released on 11/11/2014 and gained mostly negative feedback from fans. The game had characters such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles "Tails" Prower, Knuckles, Amy Rose and the game's new character Sticks. The game is a beat-em-up similar to the Sonic Unleashed night stages. However it still does have some parts where Sonic runs fast. The gameplay during these moments is very similar to that of Sonic Dash. The game has a story that has some dark moments but keeps it accessible to kids by inserting humor into the dialogue.
