Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric v3783 is a prototype build of Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for the Wii U. Dated four months before the game's release by the disc it was contained on, it is an internal development build presumably used for testing. The disc will only run on a compatible CAT-R or CAT-I unit (development and kiosk units respectively).

History

This development build of Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric was found in a Sega of America branded CAT-R Wii U development console that was used by developer Big Red Button Entertainment. The development console was seemingly found in a storage unit, and resold without knowledge that the development build of Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric was inside. The disc was dumped by AliciaBurrito and uploaded to the Internet Archive on September 6, 2022.
