Mario & Sonic - London 2012 Virtual Card Album is a title in the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games series by Nintendo and Sega under license from the International Olympic Committee to correspond with the 2012 London Olympics. When first announced at the June 2012 Nintendo Direct, it was called Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games Virtual Card Album.[2]

The objective is to collect cards from the application itself with Playcoins, going to Nintendo Zone hotspots, or by having Streetpass active on the Nintendo 3DS system. Some cards were given out at specific locations with there being 73 cards to collect in total. Additionally, cards have a "Rarity" valued from 1 to 5 stars.

Cards were available to collect until September 9th, 2012.[3]
