Background Information
- Naugus Games was officially retconned in the Free Comic Book Day 2011 story Rematch, making the original version non-canon.
- The Naugus Games story is rather infamous for its art style, with many pages either being completely back or covered in snow.
- Ian Flynn has stated that the original story will not be included in any Sonic Selects issue, likely due to the reasons above.
- It's stated that Sonic had just gotten Mobotropolis back from Robotnik in Naugus Games, meaning it takes place between the events of Issue 75 and Issue 76. This creates a plot hole, however, since only days pass between the events of the aforementioned issues.
