− | This comic spins-off from the [[Sonic the Hedgehog (Archie)|Archie Sonic the Hedgehog]] series. Originally planned as a second mini-series for Knuckles, fan support led to the mini-series being turned into a full spin-off series of comics. Unlike the Sonic the Hedgehog series, all stories are set up as three-part stories. This kind of aspect would later be implemented in the [[Sonic Universe]] comic. In addition, the covers of each three-part story can be combined to create one large panoramic cover.
