The Chao Pod (チャオポッドMedia:TSR Switch-PS4 JP digital manual.pdf) is the Chao's racing car in Team Sonic Racing. It was specially created by Dodon Pa to allow the Chao to compete in his Grand Prix competition.

Overview

The Chao Pod's base stats.

Personalised specifically for the Chao, the Chao Pod is a large pod with a light blue upper half and a dark blue underside, outfitted with blue wheels covered with yellow guards. The pod features a large glass dome with three orange seats for the Neutral, Hero and Dark Chao to sit in, and behind it is a yellow seat that Omochao sits in to communicate with his teammates. The headlights on the front of the pod are yellow, resembling eyes.

Without any customizations, the Chao Pod has high acceleration and handling, and average boost, defense and top speed. By altering its parts, the player can change the car's performance as well as its appearance.
