The Radial Burst[1] (ラジアルバースト[2]) is a move that is used in Team Sonic Racing. It is a defensive technique that only Speed Type characters can perform.
Overview
The Radial Burst can be peformed by Sonic, Amy, Blaze, Shadow and Metal Sonic while they are using a level 2 boost. To do this, they must drift until their drift sparks turn purple and release, or drive over two Boost Pads in a row. This will automatically activate the Radial Boost, which sends out a blast of energy from the user's vehicle that will destroy any oncoming Wisp attacks like Orange Rocket and Crimson Eagle as well as push away any nearby rivals.
