Back to: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (alpha)/Comparisons.

Unlike the Simon Wai prototype, the Special Stage does exist... sort of. It's in fact a very broken version of the original Sonic the Hedgehog Special Stage, playing Casino Night Zone's music.

The remnants of Sonic enter the level...

...and most of the time it crashes shortly afterwards.

Hit what was once a goal block and you'll be taken to a blue screen with Chemical Plant Zone's music playing.
