The Snailbot is a cut badnik that appeared in Emerald Hill Zone. It's design is of an overgrown snail with spikes at the top of its body. When the badnik sees Sonic, it charges at the characters by speeding up. It can be destroyed by simply jumping on it. It was replaced in Sonic 2 Beta 4 by the Coconuts monkey badnik.
