Along with the other levels from Sonic the Hedgehog (16-bit), Scrap Brain appears as a racetrack in Sonic Drift for the Sega Game Gear. The course layout is different in each of the Green, Yellow, and Red Grands Prix. Sonic Drift's Scrap Brain is faithful to the original Scrap Brain Zone, with metallised ground and domed manufactories in the background.
