- 1974 — Lisa Ortiz, the English voice of Amy Rose in Sonic X and the game voice from 2005 to 2010, is born.
- 1993 — William Corkery, the English voice of Miles "Tails" Prower in Sonic Heroes, is born. "Sonic Racer", the 7th episode of Sonic the Hedgehog, is the 13th and final episode of season one to air in North America. Issue #15 of Sonic the Comic is released in the United Kingdom.
- 1996 — Issue #93 of Sonic the Comic is released in the United Kingdom.
- 1998 — Sonic R is released for the PC in Japan.
- 2004 — "Defective Detectives", the 39th episode of Sonic X, airs in North America.
- 2006 — Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine is released on the Wii Virtual Console in North America.
- 2013 — Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing is released for BlackBerry devices in North America and Europe.
- 2019 — The fourth and final issue of Sonic the Hedgehog: Tangle & Whisper, a comic mini-series, is released in North America.
