Back to: Sonic Chaos (Game Gear prototype; 1993-05-17)/Comparisons.

Sleeping Egg Zone doesn't really exist in this prototype. It loads a broken layout and uses graphics from Mecha Green Hill Zone.

Acts 1 and 2

Acts 1 and 2 are identical - both are unbeatable and both are a mess. Run to the right, run to the left, and get stuck around here. This is as far as you can go through normal play.

There's some invisible Super Ring monitors.

Act 3 shows more promise though still loads Mecha Green Hill Zone tiles.

Hopping Egg Vulcan has been implemented, though you fight it against a completely white background. It also uses the Master System layout, so the boss spends most of its time off-screen. It can be defeated though.
