Rush Bosses
I did take quite a long snoop around the various sites which one would expect to have the boss name information (if it existed) before starting these articles - alas, to no avail. I believe that it may be the case that the bosses do not actually have official names - and in such cases we actually have a procedute in place; see Category:Sonic the Hedgehog (16-bit) Bosses and Category:Sonic Rivals 2 Bosses. This is why I used the titles I did. While your "sensible suggestions" certainly are nicer-looking than "Eggman/Nega (Water Palace Boss)", it's unwise to run the risk of your average reader mistaking our made-up names for official ones, which they very much are not. - ...in fact, maybe we ought to do what's done on Template:S1MDOmni - have no names at all on the template. Frozen Nitrogen (Talk) 17:46, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- Ah, misinformation, the only thing worse than no information at all. I've since corrected the heading to read 'Official names not known', but I'll change the contents to generic 'Boss #' titles so that there's no further room for misinterpretation (It's not viable to use the 'no titles' standard set in your example since we don't yet have a complete set of boss images).
