The 2002-08-15 build of Sonic Mega Collection is a prototype build of Sonic Mega Collection for the Nintendo GameCube. This prototype was released by drx during the February 23rd, 2008 proto release.
All the games compiled in this game collection are finalized and all the games that appear in the final are in this version also. However, some things are changed in the menus in terms of graphics and listings. The collection also uses a very late prototype of Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball from a scene release, which uses the classic Sonic themes.
This build also lists Sonic the Hedgehog CD as one of the available games, and is unlocked from startup. However, launching it will load the original Sonic the Hedgehog instead. No ISO for this game has been found on the disc. While all other games use the North American manuals, Sonic CD uses its European manual.
