Secret Base Zone is the second zone in Sonic Advance. This zone clearly resembles Sonic 2's Metropolis Zone, with its tubes, steam tops and lava.
Unique effects
The very first part of Act 1 has an interesting floodlight effect, later used in Sonic Advance 2's Ice Paradise Zone.
Boss
SBZ's boss is even easier than NGHZ's boss! All you have to do is to jump on top of Robotnik's springy vehicle. When it lands after jumping really high, you will get hurt if you are not in the air, which makes it slightly easier for Tails to beat this boss.
