Sonic Prime began development five years before it released in 2022.[1]
Writing Process
Ian Flynn pitched the idea for the show to include Birdie from Sonic Adventure. In the actual series Birdie is pink instead of blue, more closely resembling the Flicky in E-102 Gamma.[2]
Sega and Marza Animation Planet were involved with developing the series to help keep it inline with the video games.[3]
