Clash!! Sonic VS Knuckles is the fifth episode in the first season of Sonic X. In the English dub, it is known as Cracking Knuckles.
Episode Summary
Knuckles is walking down a dark alley and Eggman tells him that Sonic is trying to keep Knuckles from going home. Knuckles' rage takes over him and he goes after Sonic. Amy informs Chris and Tails of a chaos emerald in Silver Valley and they take the train after Sonic declines an invitation. When nobody finds the emerald, they settle for a picinic and Eggman's robot attacks. Sonic meets up with Knuckles and tehy begin to fight. Tails defeats the robot and Sonic and Knuckles continue to battle. Knuckles finally figured out that Eggman tricked him and he takes care of Eggman. Knuckles goes his own way once more with protest from Chris and Amy.
