K2J (short for "Kool Kid Joe", and sometimes known as K2JMan, e.g., on The GHZ) is a guy who came to know Sonic™ via his need for a good action game for his Gamecube between Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Mario Sunshine. As a result, he is a prototypical SA2 fanboy. However, he has since played pretty much every Sonic game (save for Knuckles Chaotix and the two Rivals games), and believes SA1 to be a better game than its successor.
"Role" in Sonic Community
In discussions, he tends to be the "news guy" and is the de-facto moderator of the Sonic subreddit and typically will barge into forum topics with a new link or tidbit of information, because everyone seems to ignore him otherwise. His biggest claim to fame for the Sonic community is scanning the first Nintendo Power article on Sonic Chronicles, revealing Shade.
