<forumuser name="Jaseman" /> Jaseman, known as James Sturges in the real world, is your friendly neighborhood 15 year-old who seems to have a ridiculously extended knowledge of anything gaming, but maybe the people who think that just know nothing about it. He is known for spelling mistakes, failed humor and making himself look incredibly stupid on the web.

Early Life

James lived in California for a while, then moved to a few places before settling down somewhere else. He was homeschooled until 2009, which lead to him not getting out much. His older brother had a Sega Genesis which he loved and played every day, due to the fact that the only other gaming system he had was his Game Gear. He played Sonic 2 obsessively, but couldn't finish it until a few years ago. His 2 consoles were later Goodwill'd, and he got Sonic Mega Collection Plus for the PC.

Current Status

James is now a Sophomore in his high school, and is probably the school's nerdiest person. He consistently makes himself look like an idiot, and for no apparent reason. He is a huge SEGA nerd, and enjoys talking about that subject, even though nobody else does. This has lead to him being considered a general freak, but meh, whatever. He currently writes for two gaming websites, and enjoys writing even more than he enjoys writing idiotic Wiki pages about himself. He is also a Dreamcast freak.

Jaseman and Sonic Retro

James signed up for Sonic Retro under the name Jaseman in 2009, got validated, made 20 posts, and wasn't approved. This made him angry, and he though it would be a good idea to create another account under the name RotorTheWalrus, which Tweaker saw through immediately, but somehow let James into Retro, being the nice guy he is.

Did He Do Anything Important?

Actually, no not really. You see, he was working on a few hacks, most of which went nowhere, but all of which halted when he mostly switched over to a Mac. James does have extensive knowledge of everything related to pirates, Hong Kong Originals and obscure games like Tails Sky Patrol; however, he has not contributed really much at all to the scene besides stirring up a mostly useless conversation about Somari Advance, which is a 32-bit remake of Somari.

And On the Forums?

Nope. He causes a few LOLs, but tends to say unimportant and often unrelated things about the topic at hand, which nobody actually reads anyways, so it's alright. He may one day say something worthwhile, but probably not.

Jaseman and Random Sonic

One day, a friend of his posted a topic on Sonic Retro about his fangame, Random Sonic. Due to people already hating on Sonic 4, the thread was met with universal hate, and so Jaseman lashed out in rage, causing Chimpo to give him a nice little vacation, in which he learned not to be so angry about trivial things like fangames.
