Sonic X-Treme is a novel, written for children ages 4 through 8. It takes place in the same universe as SatAM and the Archie comics, but deviates from it in certain cases. Although it features the same name as the canceled Sonic X-treme game, and was published around the same time as it was canceled, this novel and the game are not related.
Summary
The evil tyrant Dr. Robotnik has kidnapped Bunnie Rabbot. In order to get Bunnie back, Sonic must face-off against Robotnik in a series of 'x-treme' sports. In the meantime, Sally Acorn and Rotor work on their own way to retrieve Bunnie, in the event that Robotnik backs off from his word.
