Extra life

Pause during gameplay and press A A A D D. A sound will confirm correct entry, and the life counter will increase by one when the game is unpaused. This cheat can be entered as many times as needed.

Always have one Ring

Pause during gameplay and press A B C A. A sound will confirm correct entry. While the player will still take damage from attacks, they will always keep one Ring and so cannot die from damage.
