Sonic & Knuckles Collection

Sonic & Knuckles Collection is a Sonic the Hedgehog compilation game for Microsoft Windows-based PCs. The ports have seemed to be slightly more buggy than their originals, and most of the original music is emulated in MIDI format.

Some music, such as Carnival Night Zone, Ice Cap Zone and Launch Base Zone were changed with different music. It is unknown why these are replaced. Other than that, the gameplay is identical to their Genesis counterparts.

This game is virtually impossible to play in windowed mode on any system with a CPU faster than 350 mHz, because the game does not have proper speed-limiting routines in this mode. However, the timings used by full screen mode are based on the moniter's refresh rate, so the game can be played at the correct speed at a 60Hz refresh rate on any modern system.
