Game: Sonic 3D: Flickies' Island |
The Hunter is an enemy encountered on Flickies' Island in Green Grove Zone, the first level of Sonic 3D: Flickies' Island for the Mega Drive and Sega Saturn.
Possibly modelled after a hermit crab (but with eyes in its shell) this Badnik doesn't move from its position, though it will swivel round to face Sonic when the hedgehog is nearby. Its defence comes in the form of a levitating spike ball which orbits around it. Destroy the robot with a Spin Dash or jump to recover its organic battery power source, a blue Flicky.
The name of this Badnik is conjectural, as no official name has been given to it. The name comes from the level editor in a development build of Sonic 3D that is included as a bonus feature in Sonic 3D: Director's Cut.
