At the end of Knuckles' Chaotix's Amazing Arena Act 5, Robotnik appears in a contraption with arms that extend to try to hit the player. The contraption also projects images of badniks from the level onto a large screen behind the arena; the projections become real and attack the player. The battle ends when the contraption is destroyed and the Dark Ring powering it disintegrates.
