Mystic Ruins

It's been a long, LONG time since I played SA1, but for the sake of making sure I get my continuity right regarding Mystic Ruins (Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood): was Final Egg a facility on the ground in Mystic Ruins, or is it on the Egg Carrier (which Sonic just boards while it's landed in Mystic Ruins)? Supposedly it's inside a base made by Eggman, so it could have been removed later.
- Shouldn't the image depict a screenshot from the field instead of the map (being this one included somewhere else on the page?)
