Game: [[Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (8-bit)]][[Category:Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (8-bit) bosses]] |
Level: [[Gimmick Mt. Zone]] |
Inobuta is Japanese for "wild boar", and is is not difficult to see why the Inobuta Mecha got this name. Boss of Gimmick Mt. Zone, this metal-spiked kill-hog crashes from one end of the screen to another, dislodging heavy rocks from the ceiling when it impacts. These are deadly in and of themselves, never mind the crazed robot running around beneath them. On the plus side, Inobuta Mecha charges so hard and so fast that the machine stuns itself when it collides with the side of the arena, retracting its spikes and giving Sonic a short window to do some damage.
