Ian Flynn is a long time Sonic writer, he has written many Sonic comic stories for both Archie and IDW. He has also written for the Sonic video game series, starting with the animated scenes in Sonic Origins[1].


Outside of Sonic he has written for other video game franchises such as Rivals of Aether and the Archie Comics Mega Man series. He and Adam Bryce Thomas have also created their own original series Drogune. In real life, he is the husband of writer and colorist Aleah Baker.
