The following documents (named Sonic Bible in the header) were distributed internally by Sega of America which provides the localized story of Sonic the Hedgehog. The storyline was obviously from the era of the early Mega Drive Sonic games as the story used in US games most recently do not reference much of these events. Parts of the story seem to paralell the events of UK's Sonic the Comic.
The document doesn't mention the events of Sonic 2 or any other Sonic games released after Sonic 1 and was probably written before Sonic 2 was even released.
