Sonica

<forumuser name="Sonica" /> Sonica is a young and talented scener who joined Sonic Retro in June of 2008. He has superb skill with pixel art, vector graphics, as well as other things pertaining to graphics editing.

How it started

Sonica initially joined Sonic Retro to contribute towards the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 HD project, and he did just that; however, what Sonica had in skill, he lacked in general forum etiquette. His overall posting style and inexperience with message boards caused him to get banned shortly after getting erroneously approved by another moderator. Shortly after being banned, he was promoted to a member of the graphics team for Sonic 2 HD, and he contributed towards Phoebius' Project: Sonic Retro fan project as a pixel artist.

In November 2008, Sonica was unbanned from Sonic Retro at the advice of Canned Karma. He was able to pass Trial Membership and become a full member, indicating that he is a scener reformed. It is expected that he will continue contributing towards Sonic 2 HD in the future.

What to expect

Sonica had stopped working on Sonic the Hedgehog 2 HD for a while, exploring other things such as programming (Game Maker, Visual Basic, C#). After he had explored enough software making, he decided to start working on Sonic the Hedgehog 2 HD again in 2010, submitting newer versions of his older work in progress art. He also is developing a project entitled Sonic Maker.
