Mercury is a member on Sonic Retro who is active on both the forum and on the wiki. With his superior technical skills he's been doing extensive researches on the classic Sonic games, which eventually resulted in the Sonic Physics Guide, possibly Mercury's best known work. Aside from the aforementioned guide, Mercury's other works include a Sonic engine (

in progress), a Sonic 1 special stage editor (

released), the Sonic Extractor programmes, and a tutorial which explains how to put pushable blocks and breakable blocks in every Sonic 1 zone (

in progress). Because of the constant high quality of Mercury's forum posts, nineko nominated him for Tech Membership three times, but a consensus has not been reached yet.
