Memberships

Kogen joined the Sonic Retro (formerly known as Simon Wai's Sonic 2 Beta Page) forum in 2004 after finding it linked on the website Sonic CulT, some time in 2003. Kogen became interested in the Sonic fan community in 2003 after discovering the emulator Gens, just in time to see the series degrade rapidly. Kogen only became an active poster at Sonic Retro in 2007, when the member JJF told him to join the IRC chat room. The soul mate of Kogen, Tweaker, then encouraged him various times to continue posting, which keeps Kogen active as both a forum member and as a mentally stable person.

Kogen is also an active member of the website SEGANerds.com, a blog site dedicated to reporting current SEGA news and posting various features relating to the company. Their forum is on a separate domain, SEGANerdsForums.com.

Personal Information

Kogen is a German-Irish citizen of Canada and lives in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. He collects various video games and hardware (mostly SEGA-related), majors in Historical Studies at Memorial University, is a member of the Monarchist League of Canada, and follows the National Socialist ideology. Kogen is a admirer of both Tweaker and Heinrich Himmler.
